Why 120x240 cm?

A 120x240 cm panel is 2.88 square metres — roughly 44% more area than a 100x200 cm panel. On site that means fewer panels, fewer joints and faster installation. Joints are the weakest points of any perimeter, so reducing their number improves both strength and appearance.

This size is preferred for garden and plot perimeters, animal pens, warehouse and car park divisions, site partitions and greenhouse work. One person can carry the panel, but it is bulkier than the 100x200 size; that is worth allowing for when working in tight spaces.

3x3 or 4x4?

A 4x4 cm opening is sufficient for general use and more economical. A 3x3 cm opening is woven more tightly, giving both a more closed surface and a more rigid panel; it is the choice where small animals are kept and for security partitions. The tighter the mesh, the more wire per square metre and the higher the price.

Installation and Quantity

Panels are fixed to posts or profiles with clips, leaving a few centimetres of overlap at the joints. Dividing the area to be covered by 2.88 square metres gives the approximate panel count, plus a small allowance for overlap and cutting. Panels may need cutting at corners, so it is worth confirming measurements once more on site. Send us your metrage and we will list panels and fixings together.

Price, Stock and Delivery

Export prices are quoted per order, net of Turkish VAT, and are based on our Ostim stock. Freight is never included in the goods price; it is quoted separately after the order according to the destination, the quantity and the delivery term agreed. On high-volume orders the unit price falls; send us the quantity and we will issue a net EXW or FOB quote within one business day.
